I am a single 22 year old high school teacher, so I have zero time to spend in the kitchen. I cook for one and am an extremely healthy eater, but I still don't sacrifice on taste. My dinners are usually part pre-made, part homemade, and always read in less than 20 minutes. If I could co-host any Food Network show, it would definitely be Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee. I adore fresh fruit.... any fruit except coconut (too papery) and pineapple (too medicinal). I reach for sweet potatoes. I microwave the biggest sweet spud I can find at my local market, add dried rosemary-garlic seasoning, a little organic chicken broth, and mash it up with my fork before vegging out in front of a chick-flick.
