I live in Durham, NC, with my husband, and all of our pets. We are originally from Charlotte, NC. We love Durham, and it's not too far from home, so it's just a short ride down the road when we want to visit family. I love cooking, and I am constantly trying new recipes, modifying old ones, or trying to copycat something I had in a restaraunt. I also love, art, books, travelling, and most of all my family.

Favorite Foods:

I have so many favorite foods, I really can't list all of them. I recently got a new ice cream maker, so I have been trying out new recipes, until I feel that I have the perfect vanilla ice cream. I love baking, cakes, cookies, pies, and I make the best lemon meringue pie, ever! My husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy, so there is alot of steak eating going on around here, I try use different marinades, rubs, etc., so it doesn't get too boring. I love when holidays, parties or special occasions come around, because it gives me a chance to get creative, and show off my cooking skills!
