about me

I am completely a Northwest girl growing up in WA, UT, ID, and OR. We have thought about extending that boundary and moving to Wyoming or Colorado. I am a "double duck", studying in the area of Speech-Language Pathology and receiving my masters in 2008. My Taurean personality leads me to pursuing good food, and so I love trying new recipes. My husband is starting to get into it and not just to shock his family that he now eats more than just ramen or other "box" foods.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite restaurant is olive garden and all other comfort foods or anything with garlic. Right now I like anything grilled b/c it's a hot hot summer, I hate heating up the house, and it's an excuse to get my hubbie to do half the work to make dinner (he doesn't trust me around fire or sharp objects so I am free of grill duty).

I have yet to develop dishes for which I'm famous for although I've always had a knack for desserts including huckleberry chocolate chip cookies. Usually I make up dishes on the spot that are wonderful but I am unable to duplicate them.
