I'm a SAHM homeschooling mother of two boys. While my husband tries to save the world at the University of Texas (he's a scientist), I spend my days chasing two rambunctious types while working on my fledgling online jewelry store.
It's easier to list what I don't like. I LOVE food and I LOVE to eat and read through cookbooks from the library. Let's see. I've never eaten anything in this world better than my mama's fried squash, but if I had to pick a second favorite, it would be raw oysters. I first had them when I was 6 years old. My parents and I were in New Orleans eating at a restaurant on Bourbon Street. As usual, my dad had disappeared and found the oyster bar. Being a daddy's girl, I took off to find him. I entertained everyone when I began eating oysters right next to my daddy. THAT'S the best introduction to seafood I can think of!!
