about me

We are a hockey family from Spokane, Washington and spend most of our weekends on the road. Whenever we are at home for a weekend, I love to take time out to cook. I have close to 200 cookbooks and use most of them!

We traveled to Italy in July of 2006, thus the reason for the Portofino picture. We didn't realize that we would be visiting this city when I posted this picture.

I have traveled extensively with my job and like to buy cookbooks reflecting cuisine from whatever city, state or country that I visit. If you ever need a particular recipe, chances are I have it!

Favorite Foods:

I am married to an Italian and we all love Italian food. We also enjoy mexican and southern comfort food.

I am probably most famous for making crab stuffed mushrooms.

Favorite restaurants include DeBeppo's in Seattle, Market Street Grill in Salt Lake City and the Rocky Knob in Sula, MT - home of the best deep fried zucchini anywhere!
