I just started cooking about two years ago when I realized I'm going to have to get all my practice in before I have a family! My fiance gets to try all of my experiments as we build up our household staples. I like to try everything from gyros to sushi (and I even made my first Thanksgiving turkey!). My favorite kitchen items are my crockpot, wok, and one awesome knife.
Most of the food we eat is organic or all natural. We try to stay away from artifical anything. I do a lot of chopping of vegetables, and I make a ton of things from scratch instead of buying their convenient (and not-so-healthy) counterpart. I love making french bread from scratch (and my fiance loves to eat it). We eat a lot of international foods. Ever since my fiance bought me a professional wok, we've been eating Asian-inspired foods a few times a week! Stir-fry is so easy and quick and really healthy. I also make a lot of grilled chicken and fish.
