about me

My initials are "AJ" but this nickname was already in use...so I'm a Canadian hoser (eh) and I picked this variation for the website. I'm a retired Canadian Air Force pilot, have travelled the world and love sampling all of the local foods wherever I go. I recently moved to Courtenay in British Columbia and love travelling and outdoor stuff.

Favorite Foods:

I lived in India (Kashmir) while flying the United Nations aircraft and got hooked on Indian food. That was back in '71 and my pantry is now the envy of many curry fanatics. I love browsing through food stores and spice markets in different countries and my crewmates think I'm nuts when I disappear down back allies in foreign cities to sample the "local" food. I love cooking and experimenting with different ideas, curries are my faves.
