I live in beautiful Boulder Colorado where I am a senior in college. I am originally from Pittsburgh and still consider that to be home, but I have fallen in love with the Colorado lifestyle. There is always something to do here and I spend my free time hiking with my dogs, skiing, reading, or just doing any activity that can be done outdoors.

Another thing I have fallen in love with since moving to Colorado and living on my own is COOKING! A year ago I couldn't toast bread without it burning, but I have come a long way and I find myself constantly thinking of food and menus. I am a big promoter of quality over quantity and I try to set up my meals with at least two or three courses in order to really enjoy the food I am making. I love thinking about flavor pairings and theme menus. I have gotten to the point where I have something planned for all three meals of the day. Dessert is my favorite part of the meal (like many people I am sure) and I try to make something for dessert every night whether it is just fruit and some cream and sugar or something more elaborate. My boyfriend of three years has also really enjoyed this new hobby of mine and he helps me in the kitchen for most meals which is an added bonus. Recipezaar has been a great place for me to learn and most of the time I spend on the internet is on this website. I hope over time I can become a more important part of the Recipezaar community.

Favorite Foods:

Cheese, Fondue (chocolate and cheese), breakfast pastries, popcorn, buffalo chicken, bagels, spaghetti, any kind of desert, and of course goldfish crackers.
