about me

I moved to Moore Labor Day weekend, 2005. I lived in Tulsa, OK for 32 years. I moved to Moore to begin my newest career, teacher. Currently, I am looking for another teaching position because I was on a temporary contract and do not coach.
I love to grill. I have a small grill but would like one with three grates so I could do some smoking.
My daughter and I are both hypoglycemic so sugar is a real problem in recipes and ingredents. If you do not have to use artifical sweeteners, they are the most awful foods and drinks. But if you must have the artifical sweeteners, they are the best tasting stuff ever!!

Favorite Foods:

The restaurants I like best are ones that have good cuts of meat and know how to cook them. I love shrimp, crab legs, and lobster. My mother made the best shrimp gumbo in the world. There is a hotel restaurant, Ramada Inn I think, in Orange, Texas that makes gumbo like she could. (Yes there are truly excellent restaurants in hotel chains.)
My son and daughter-in-law both work in the food industry. My son has been a chef for several restaurants in Tulsa.
