about me

I come from a very traditional Bengali family in India. Father was a simple computer person, mom was always a homemaker. We are 2 sisters and one brother, both of them are younger to me.

Currently I am having a small family of my own, with my husband AJ, my 2 daughters-Isha and Juhi and ofcourse 5 parakreets and one biiiig aquarium !
AJ is in business development and me in graphics.
Isha is doing her 5th grade, while Juhi is just beginging to go in preschool.

I like to cook...the tragedy is I have to do it everyday...so sometimes I lose interest. But when I "cook" with love, I dish out nice things..

I am a taurean, that makes me stubborn, bull-headed and lots of other bad things you can think about !

Favorite Foods:

My favourite dishes are of course Indian, though I love chicken wings, pasta and noodles too ! But I looooooove Indian food.

What I love is the spice, the richness and flavours they have ! Biriyani, Pulao, Gravies, Curries and of course Dal is what I like.

What I cook good is pasta, pav bhaaji, noodles, chicken curry, fish biriyani, and dal makhni.

My favourite restaurant is Chutneys in Bellevue, WA.

We once did have the pleasure of sitting down all by ourselves and having nice food, but ever since the kids are born, we have kindof forgotten those days. Evne then, we do enjoy going outside !
