about me

I now live in West Virginia... my birth state and I LOVE IT!!!
I like to sew and do crafts, work in the yard, and go to the Renaissance Festival and other events like it.
My favorite cookbook is an orange "Betty Crocker Cookbook" by Golden Press, I've had it for YEARS, I've used it so much that the spine wore out and is now held together with duct tape.
My passion is PASSION, romance, puppies and other soft cuddly things.
Pet peeves, people who think they are better than others, the rising gas and energy prices (I do my part by driving a Scion that gets 30 miles to the gal. and keeping heat on about 65 deg. in winter and about 70 in summer). I could go on, but why ruin a nice day talking about how bad government officials are

Favorite Foods:

Chocolate.... and more chocolate, it can heal just about any thing... as long as you don't over do.
My favorite dish to cook... anything that ends up tasting good. I'm famous for my homemade Lasaguna and Chicken Rococo, sorry, I can't take credit for the recipes... but everyone loves those two dishes... WHEN I make them. I always have to save my (married) daughter some of the Chicken Rococo, she LOVES it. And the Lasaguna... gotta save some of that for my son-in-law... which isn't hard, the recipe I make, makes a huge pan +. It also weighs a ton!!!
My Favorite restaurant is "Texas Roadhouse" they make the best steaks and homemade bread. Them there is G&M, I think it is a local family owned...their crab cakes are huge... AND they absolute BEST I've ever tasted. I also resently went to a new restaurant in Glen Burnie (MD.) called "Bone Fish Grill" what can I say... fingers to the kissy lips like the Italians.
Ok, I think that's enough... what do you guys like????
