about me

I really like to cook, especially if I don't HAVE TO! I try to cook frugally as it is hard to keep 4 big boys and their friends full on a regular sized budget.
I used to be a personal chef but gave it up. I couldn't stand cooking wonderful meals for other people and then coming home to give my crew mac-n-cheese and hot dogs
I also like recipes that are good for use while camping. However, I have lost all of mine so I am rebuilding my file.
My pet peeve (regarding cooking) is how people will give you an inacurate recipe so it only comes out good when they make it. Second and like it is the person who won't share recipes. If they don't want you eclipsing them at the church potlucks or in your "foody" circles, they should just request that you don't bring it — it is their specialty.
