about me

I'm originally from Trinidad but live in Jamaica. I love to cook and find it a great relaxation from my high-pressure job. I don't like baking that much because I find it a bit too temperamental for my taste - except for bread. I love to bake bread (all that pulling and punching...very therapeutic)and Christmas is not Christmas without my homemade bread on the table. My ultimate dream is to open a bed & breakfast inn and have family and friends drop by just to taste my latest creation. In fact, if I won the lottery tomorrow, I would quit my job and just cook.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite foods are the good old comfort foods from my childhood - anything with potatoes or rice is a sure hit with me. I love going out to eat but I like entertaining more. There's something about having your friends around the table laughing and enjoying each other's company that makes life worth living.
