about me

I now live in North Carolina after living in South Florida for the past 5 years. I am originally from Philly and that is where I learned about cooking Italian and about the proper cheesesteak. I gained a great appreciation for Cuban and Japanese food while in Florida.

My obsession with sushi didn't really take off until I moved to Florida, where fresh seafood is king. That recent asian food craze kick-started my love for my rice cooker. I am always collecting rice cooker recipes.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dishes to cook are Italian, because it comes easy to me, but my favorite food to eat is sushi! I also like to experiment with international foods, especially eastern and middle-eastern. Luckily there are many international food selections available at my grocery store and the asian food market. I love to browse them.

My other specialty is jello shots, they are oft requested and I bring them to every party I go to. I like to experiment with them.
