about me

Yikes!! My daughter had fun in PaintShop Pro!! What she can do with a picture.

My husband and I live in the "bush" and hour from the closest town. Life here is quiet, yet so much more busy than when we lived in the "city". We grow our own veggies, several kinds of berries, and grow lots of hard neck organic garlic. We have 60 chickens, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds. Quite the menagerie. So with all the home grown goodies, you can imagine the good cookin' that goes on in my kitchen


I make all my own breads, and sell them (along with the eggs). I have a group of friends whom I make extra goodies for.

Favorite Foods:

Well...about the only foods i will not eat are bell peppers, oysters and sushi. I love lamb, chicken and fish. I try and stay away from red meat...although...a good steak will never be refused!

My passion in cooking is bread. I love working with living dough. I enjoy creating new textures and flavours. My husband is an honest critic. Which makes me a better cook.
