about me

I'm graduating college this year and beginning the adventurous step into the kitchen. I've lived in Florida and Sweden but I'm going to be moving home to Maryland at the end of the year. American Literature is my passion. I love strong, bitter coffee with something sweet on the side. Cardamum is one of my favorite spices to cook with and I have a guilty sweet tooth. I love to cook for other people and hate eating alone.

Favorite Foods:

I am passionate about FOOD-- all kinds, all cuisines, all tastes. I love baking morning breads-- muffins, coffee breads, cinnamon buns. Banana pancakes are heaven. I love tomato cheese pie in the summer time with a side of fresh fruit. Sweet potatoes are a must at my Thanksgiving. Sweet corn on the cob in August and peaches in April. Picking apples at the local orchard and making use of them in pies, turnovers and fritters are some of my favorite childhood memories. My grandmother's carrot-loaf is unbeatable.
