I am an adventurer in Chicago...
I am a high school teacher in the burbs of Chicago & I love my job, but I'm always excited to head back into the city for evening fun...
If I'm not cooking, then I am most likely running, playing soccer, riding on the lakefront, in the yoga studio or hanging out with my beautiful Chow-Husky!

Favorite Foods:

TACOS - steak, fish, chicken, avacado, pork...any kind of taco, I love it!!

I think I am most famous for my Mango Salsa and my 7-Layer Mexican Appetizer! My Guacamole is pretty yummy too! I am Canadian/American by birth, but if you looked at my weekly menu/diet, you would have a hard time believing I was not, at least partially, of latino upbringing.

Living in Chicago, it is really hard to have one single favorite restaurant...
Some of my Favs: Coobah on Southport, Techalitlan on Chicago Ave., La Fonda on Broadway, Spoon Thai on Western Ave., Mac's on Division, Bob San Sushi on Division, Ringo on Lincoln Ave, Arturo's on Western, Pisano's Pizza...I could go on forever
