I am a married professional. I was raised outside (okay — way outside) of Boston, went to college in Chicago, and am living in Southern California.

I love to cook, and have thoroughly enjoyed Zaar. I use it all the time!
I am the volunteer Event Chair for Relay For Life of Clairemont (California). I Relay because my husband battled cancer in 2004 (and won!) and I wanted to give back. In February 2009 we found that it is back. So, I pray and fight back harder!
This year I am using Zaar recipes for TWO fundraisers. Each is a 3-course dinner party - one Spanish and one Italian. The tickets are $30 per person, and our funds raised for just these two could reach $1,000!
I am also on the auxillary board for Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. My nephew was treated (and passed away) there with the most amazing care. I couldn't possibly give enough to them.
As a Christian, my life was changed when I began to serve others. I am hugely blessed and hope that I find enough ways to demonstrate my gratitude for that.

My family loves food. I am Greek and married to a Mexican. We have such fabulous flavors (not to mention family and friends!) from our heritage that it's sometimes hard to move outside.
We both enjoy curries, and Gato loves sweets!
