about me

I am a native Californian and I am retired. I enjoy cooking for family and gardening. I also do much volunteer work for church and community. As a grandma I hold all the holiday dinners here including St Pat's and 4th of July. I love Italian foods and stir fry and I own over 100 cookbooks. I love the Opera and the Symphony and go often. Pet peeve--neighbors cats. Since I first wrote this my dog died but the good news is I got married. A new bride at 68 is really wonderful. I think my creative cooking helped turn the trick.

Favorite Foods:

I am an expermental cook something new every time. Too many recipes and too little time!! My family never knows whats about to be served. I do like to make fish stew with all the shell fish available here.
