One of my favorite cookbooks is "How to be a domestic goddess" by Nigella Lawson. It's filled with witty commentary and is a refreshing change from the norm. The recipes are very european (ie. cupcakes are "fairy cakes"). Everything I've made has been very tasty! I'm looking forward to making the "rhubarb schnapps" once my rhubarb comes up in my garden. Ummmmmm.... rhubarb.....
Any! But seriously - ethnic. The spicier, the better! I grew up eating Korean food. I think I was weaned onto hot pepper paste. I'm currently into middle eastern and african cuisine although cajun cuisine has been making a comeback in my kitchen recently. I think I'm most famous for my bi bim bap (it's korean).
