I'm a small-town girl from Graham, TX (originally). I'm a student, now, at Texas Tech University here in Lubbock, majoring in (of all things) Biochemistry. My passions include singing, cooking, and raising my children. My pet peeves are a messy kitchen and an unorganized CD collection. Thank God for the "new folder" option on the computer, or I'd go nuts not being able to organize things. Oh, yeah... in my spare time, I build rockin' computer systems and cook splendiferous (is that a word?) meals for my family.
My favorite dish to cook is something that takes all day. I'm a huge fan of Italian cooking, simply because they are so passionate about their food. Shoot, I guess Italians are pretty passionate about EVERYTHING they do... so I guess it's natural for them to pour heart and soul into the food they prepare.
As for being "famous" for a dish... I pretty much keep to myself and my family, with the rare occassional visitor. And when I asked them, they couldn't decide... "everything you make tastes good." Aren't they just so sweet (and soooooo helpful)? ![]()
My favorite restaurant is Papadeaux's in Fort Worth, Texas. It's not everywhere you can get excellent Cajun seafood, you know!
