about me

I am happily married to my wife Crystal who is a member here as well. We have 7 children collectivly so there are never any dull moments for us I am disabled and am home all the time, I wish I could work but I am lucky to get to be with my family all the time, watch the babies grow and spend time with Crystal. I have always loved to cook, even in middle school I used to make cakes at Christmas to buy presents and got to where I made them through the year for the teachers so my little business for Christmas money grew into a pretty good job that I loved. I think my favorites to work with are cakes and candies but I can cook a wide array of foods... I do not like Phillo that much though, lol. My favorite cookbook is a Betty Crocker cookbook that was my grandmothers and it has alot of choclate and candy recipies in it, even one for my favorite fudge frosting, I will post it, it is quick and simple and delicious.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dish to cook is Stuffed Fillet, even though the cost for two is a bit high it is well woth the taste as it literally falls apart in your mouth. I am famous for my Spaghetti and its sauce or my meatloaf either one, nothing much special that I see but the family does. As far as sweets, French Silk Pie and Pumpkin, I find not many people use pumpkin that they cook, mine is all from scratch and I use a slightly crispy crust I make and it is perfect! I also love to make bread, white or beer, a little beer changes the flavor alot, like the commercial says on Guiness: IT'S BRILLIANT!!!, lol. My favorite restraunt is Ichiban as it is Japanese and has the tepan bar... I love to watch them cook, I wish I could do the tricks, the food is no problem... Tempura is simple but if I go slinging knives I would lose my hand, lol, so thats a bit about me and who I am, nice to meet anyone here and I look foward to posting and trying recipies!
