about me

My husband, myself and 3 of my kids live in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona. We own an electrical wholesale/retail business. As of April/08 we opened a lighting and fan store called Lakeside Lighting & Fan Co. UPDATE: As of August/09 we had to condense our stores to one store due to the economy. We moved our Lakeside store to our Show Low location and had to squeeze 6,000 sq ft into 3000 sq ft. I would rather pack and move a home any day before moving a business again. I am not discouraged though God is our provider. We have a 21 year old daughter who is married and I am a grandma to a precious little girl named Jillian May who arrived on April 8, 2009 weighing in at only 5lbs 5oz. She was 3 weeks early. I also have an 11yr. old son, 6yr. old daughter, and a 3yr old son. I keep busy with my kids but in my spare time I love to find and try new recipes. So many recipes not enough time. I try at least two new recipes a week from recipezaar. I also love canning. water-bath and pressure. I also love to make coffee cakes to take to church, every recipe I've tried has been great, everyone loves them.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite food to eat is pizza, but my favorite food to prepare are soups and stews. We have a steakhouse here in Show Low called the Branding Iron and I just love their house dressing, but I can't seem to duplicate it. I'll keep trying. My family loves for me to make my meatless spaghetti sauce, no jar sauce for this house.
