I have always loved my grandmothers food but I thought it would
be too hard for me to mimic her grand style. However, I have realized
that each person develops their own style through trial and error. Once
I began cooking and getting feedback I realized that it wasn't hard to cook
and actually I enjoy cooking! Now I host Shayshebang Spa Radiance parties.
The girlz and I get together and give each other makeovers, eat lots of food
that I make from the recipes on Recipezaar (shameless plug--smile and wink) and
talk about any and everything. It's a way to see all of my friends at once
and catch up on what's going on with them, without scrambling to find time
or energy. I think cooking can also be erotic (no---no food on body parts),
there is something very sensual about someone eating and enjoying the meal
you have prepared
Italian, Asian, Spanish and Caribbean foods will always be my favorites!
I love, love, love spaghetti with meat sauce (gravy),whatever you wanna call it,
Mei Fun with shrimp, Ackee with salt fish, dumplings and bananas, and
Spanish rice(a true staple for me!). However, I will try anything once!
