Tom&Candy

about me

We are Tom and Candy, married 14 years, and live in Austin, TX. Most of the cooking is done by Tom these days and he loves to play around and experiment with food. We own and operate our own bookkeeping firm from a home office so we stay busy and are always on the look out for something fun, fast and healthy. We have two children, ages 7 and 5.

Tom may do most of the cooking, but Candy takes most of any photos and posts any reviews you may see here.

We both absolutely love to read! We both swap a lot of books at PaperBackSwap and easily read around 200 books per year between the two of us. Our kids are turning into little bookworms too

Favorite Foods:

Tom is a steak and potatoes kind of guy (born and raised here in Texas)... Candy loves vegetables and could easily be a vegetarian... we usually stick to chicken and fish, which seems to be a good "meet in the middle" type of thing. Our daughter loves meat, chicken, hamburger, roast, whatever... our son is a noodle freak.
