Hello Folks...Just realized there is this page. I am a 63 year old cooking fanatic..(as we probably all are on here eh?) I like to cook from scratch. Was raised on country Irish cooking. Love making my own brawn, headcheese, haggis etc.

I am retired on handicap pension. Worked for 23 years as a drug and alcohol counsellor. Have an extensive Art education. and do Chinese Water colour.

Pet Peeves are microwaves!!! Can't seem to get the hang of them..

Would also like to tell mothers of young (or never grown up folk) to look up the name Plaisham. It is from a VERY old Celtic fairy tale. Aye and a verra good one 'tis too!!

I am partial to Oriental cooking. Have been cooking Oriental style now for close to 30 years. Or of course IRISH.
