Glad to be here folks. I live in a small town near Columbia, SC. I love to cook and have used cooking as a way to relax as well as enjoy well prepared food. I especially like trying to recreate wonderful dishes I've enjoyed at restaurants. I don't mind spending quality time on an eloborate recipe (as long as I'm not hooked on a really good book ) This is not to say I don't like fast and simple too. Having worked many years in media (research and advertising) I am now enjoying some free time with which to enjoy this site.

Favorite Foods:

I'd have to say Italian and French cusine are my favorites. I especially love osso bucco and have been know to stockpile veal shanks until I have enough as they can be hard to find here. I am just known as a good cook and can't say I'm famous for any one dish. Loving variety, I come to RecipeZaar and read cookbooks for fun and inspiration.
