about me

I'm just a regular gal from a small town in southern West Virginia. I've been married for almost 7 years.
I've moved around a lot in the last few years, but my heart always brought me home. I love the excitement of a big city, but only for a week or so. I find that it's just too hectic and fast paced. I like to sit back and enjoy life and not rush around all the time doing things that won't matter 5 or 10 years down the road.
I'm a bank teller, soon to be training for a customer service position. I love my job. The ladies that I work with have worked together for 10 years or longer, but they pulled me in and made me a part of their family. I couldn't come up with a better work environment if I tried. My customers are awesome. I actually get up most mornings wanting to go to work.
Chad and I don't have children yet, but we're hoping that once I get a few minor health issues under control, we'll be pregnant by Christmas 2008 if not sooner! I've got 5 nieces and 4 nephews that I adore and spoil every chance that I get.
I love horseback riding and hope to one day own a few horses of my own. I'm almost constantly reading and writing. I'd love to have a novel not only published but on the New York Times bestseller list!! I love all kinds of music, except for that stuff that sounds like yelling and screaming that you can't understand what the person is saying.

Favorite Foods:

I love most foods, especially Mexican, which is funny considering that I don't like peppers. I guess it depends on what they're in and how they're prepared. My favorite meals are tacos and nachos. My family most requests my broccoli casserole and quesadillas.
I've just discovered how much fun baking can actually be. In the last month I've made 2 cakes and cupcakes which were a big hit with my 3 year old niece. The decorating part still needs a lot of work, but I'll get there, eventually.
