about me

I am a happily retired teacher living on Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada with my husband, Ted. We are a team in the kitchen with him chopping, grating, mixing etc. and cleaning up the mess. What could be better than that?
He has a few favourite recipes that he may share one day. I also enjoy walking and shopping with friends, reading, knitting, sewing, travelling a bit and spending time with our children and grandchildren and extended family.

Favorite Foods:

My comfort foods are cereal and mac and cheese. We eat low fat and eat out very little. I guess any kind of fish would be my favourite, but my very favourite would be Barbado's flying fish cooked by Lady Palm. Her dolpin is also superb! I hope she shares those recipes, but unfortunately flying fish is not readily available. I guess my signature meal is pork roast or Bajan Chicken with rice and beans. Anything with lemon or ginger are grand.
