I will try just about any food twice. The first taste of a new dish is always a surprise. It's the second taste when you fall in love.
I basically love eating and don't have a very picky palate. I am not above enjoying a giant platter of fried goodies at Captain D's, but I love to enjoy a delicacy every now and then, too.
My favorite foods: pizza, beer, sushi, margaritas, chips and salsa, salmon, anything with pumpkin (especially desserts), candy of any kind (I love the candy you can buy in China town and sour patch kids), panettone, French onion soup, sandwiches made with French bread and butter, French bread smeared with butter and dipped in sugar, Jelly Belly jelly beans, hamburgers, grilled sausages, onions of any variety cooked or raw, bbq fritos, moon pies, peanut butter and honey on toast, licorice, baked Brie, my mom's chicken piccata, black and white cookies, chicken or tuna salad, oatmeal, Smoothie King smoothies, broccoli (just steamed: it tastes good for you and delicious), cherry jam, Lucayan Salads at Nashville's Calypso Cafe, any salad with lots of shrapnel (nuts, fruits, cheeses, etc.), hot Krispy Kreme donuts, olives, roasted red peppers, and vodka tonics. I could go on and on...
