about me

I'm from Hermosa Beach California, Hermosa is where pro-volleyball got it's start. Hermosa means beautiful, and our beaches are just that.

My husband is retired, after working many years on private yachts, and racing on sailing boats. He's our grill chef.

I have two grown children, my daughter is a chef, specializing in pastry, my son has a wood flooring company and he also loves to cook. I have one granddaughter, who is the light of my life.

I am recenty retired, after 36 wonderful years, working as a 911 operator, 10 years police, then 26 at a local fire departement. A very rewarding career.

We have 3 beautiful burmese cats, a Champagne, a Blue, and a Platinum. Woody, Tommy, and Dicky. Tommy and Dicky are named after the "Smothers Brothers" who grew up in the area here, and my sister dated (Dick) thru high school and college

Favorite Foods:

This is hard, we like almost everything !!! I love a good homemade soup. Casseroles are great for a fast and easy meal. Our BBQ is well used. And I LOVE my daughters mocha cheesecake, which she always makes for my birthday.
