Moved to Florida 2 years ago from the Cayman Islands. Am adapting to my American home and love to cook. I miss my foody friends and am thrilled to have found an outlet for my culinary obsession. Hope to post some "Island" favourites for everyone to enjoy. If there are any other West Indians out there, when I upgrade, email me a note and ease my home sickness. I am addicted to this site. The first thing I do in the morning is check out Zaar...that is after feeding my precious dog, Kristi Girl, and brushing my teeth. Being single has its constraints for cooking but I invite friends for dinner so I have someone for whom I can cook. I get lots of company from Canada and Cayman and take out my culinary frustrations on them.

Favorite Foods:

I eat almost everything except organs and raw meat or raw fish. Eating at home is one of the best restaurants I've been to...even the flops aren't bad. I know the ingredients are fresh, the kitchen is clean and what is on the table was made with love. And, by gosh, the price is right!
