about me

******My boyfriend, Randy, who is in the pic with me above, bought me a Premium Membership for Valentine's Day!! (he also dropped off balloons and soup--but wouldn't come within 10 feet of me--because I had the flu.) I've been wanting the membership for a while now. I'm looking forward to finally organizing my cookbook and trying to figure out what to eat every day!*******

I'm in my mid 30's and live in Michigan.
My mom is the best cook in the world, and that's hard to compete with, so I don't try often! I love to bake... but cooking is not so much my thing. When I do cook, I like to experiment more than follow a recipe, so first I'll look at a dozen or so recipes for the dish I want to make, then I'll pick and choose the ingredients I want to use and come up with something of my own. I guess if I ever wrote those recipes down, I could share them!
