about me

If you happen to review or photograph my recipes, please do know that I appreciate your time - I am not premium so can't contact you personally to thank you but be assured, I DO thank you! : )) I try to repay the kindness by reviewing one of yours, when possible.

After a long time of finding cooking a boring chore, I am beginning to actually enjoy it. My focus is on healthy foods, as many veggies as possible, little fat, plenty of seafood, very little red meat.

Spices have become my best friend - and as the kids' tastebuds have matured, I am free to use more of them.

My creative streak loves vibrant colours, change, adventure, and so now I am trying to use a new recipe 3 times a week. I love writing, reading, researching; into personal development and health; really big on drinking TONS of water.

Have two adult sons living and working back home, and two teenagers with us here. I love being a mum!

5 stars, mindbogglingly delicious.
4 stars, hey this is REALLY GOOD and well worth cooking, but I may not choose to make it again without some changes.
3 stars, hmm, not quite what we like but probably well worth making for someone else.
2 stars or 1 star, I won't rate on. Everyone's tastes are different.
