I live in Longview, Washington with my wonderful husband of 15 years and our 3 spoiled cats. I have two stepchildren, both are grown and on their own. I work as a medical billing administrator. I have loved cooking ever since I was a small child. My fondest memories are of helping my Grandmother in the kitchen. She was so loving and patient. She let me experiment and always was very enthusiastic about my food projects even when they didn't taste that great
I love to watch the Food Network especially Paula Deen and Rachael Ray. My friend gave me Emeril's Delmonico cookbook for Christmas and you would think I just won the lottery. I just love it! I just bought Nigella Lawson's "How to Eat" and it is a wondeful book that is quickly becoming my all time favorite. I am really thinking strongly about turning my passion into a business. The personal chef industry is looking really good to me.
I don't really have a favorite food. I like them all except any organ meats or beets. I am most famous for my banana bread, I don't know why since I consider it a very basic recipe. It is hard to pick a favorite restaurant because I cook so often and we don't eat out that much. I know that I don't really care for "fast food" I think it should be labeled "faux food"(smile).
