Student of many obscure academic fields, aspiring cook, all around oddball.
Currently in China until mid-July — so thank you for trying all my recipes while I'm gone, and I hope to come back with new ingredients all over the place!
Asia, Asia, Asia. Oh, and European soups with lots of potatoes. Oh, and only Mexican food knows how to properly use the marvellous black bean.
And America? Who can forget the chocolate chip cookie?
Seriously, I love the exotic or the down home, but never the bland. I also try to put a healthy spin on most of my recipies, whenever possible.
