I live in South Texas. Today we have9 dogs, 7 cows, 1 horse, 26 chickens , 21 ducks & a bunch of cats. Numbers seem to increase daily. I Love: to cook & bake, read good cookbooks and animals !
I collect thimbles and cook books.

I joined zaar to post my Nanny's recipes.
She passed away in '05 and I thought zaar was a great way to share her recipes w/ my family. Everything I post of hers always gets a good review with us- if it has a bad review on zaar chances are it was not made correctly ! LOL !

Favorite Foods:

My favorite "everyday" foods are chocolate and Mexican food. I love to try new recipes. My friends refer to me as "Betty Crocker", LOL !! I love to read cook books and then make the recipes fit our tastes.
I hate beets and liver !! I love lobster and creme brulee !!
