In Memory of our Dear, Sweet Shammy who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Jan. 14, 2007, which replaces my pic of Muppet who went to the Rainbow Bridge on Sept. 6, 2006.

UPDATE: I am originally from Calgary, Canada, lived in Korea for 4 years where I worked as a teacher and met my husband, a US soldier. After he came back from Iraq, we reunited at Ft. Campbell, KY where we lived until he got out of the army.

We lived in Tucson where my husband had a law enforcement job, but recently moved to Minneapolis, MN.

My all time favorite cookbooks are the BEST of BRIDGE series written by a group of Canadian wives who met regularly to play bridge and had to bring a dish to each game. Their cookbooks evolved from there. I highly recco any of their cookbooks and/or their website.

The picture was taken recently in Canmore, Alberta. The mountains behind us are The Three Sister's.

We got married in Sedona, Arizona this past September in the courtyard of a beautiful Inn in the Red Rock Mountains.

Favorite Foods:

I really enjoy cooking and missed it alot when I was in Korea because I didn't have an oven, which are few and far between there. I finally have my belongings out of storage and moved to the US. Now I just have to go through the boxes to find all my cookbooks. Zaar has been my sole source of recipes and will continue to be a huge one even though I have my cookbooks now.
