So, a bit about me: I love to eat, love to cook and am married to a chef (lucky me).
I have TWO wonderful dogs and a great cat. The dogs miss the soft grass of Virginia. I miss the sunshine of New Mexico.
My Favorite Cookbook:
Coffee and bacon.
With my intestinal and thyroid problems I am currently on a diet that only allows organic eggs, poultry and fish (no dairy or red meat). I can have organic, cruciferous vegetables and leafy greens. I can have citrus fruit and garlic. I can have coconut oil and flaxseed oil. I can roast my own walnuts. I can have shitake mushrooms(no others). I can have cayenne, cumin, cinnamon and a few other spices. No salt no pepper. No caffeine. No sugar or starch--not even carrots or beans. Everything has to be cooked. I take 20+ pills a day. I eat protein every 2 hours. I'm grumpy. DID I MENTION NO COFFEE AND NO BACON? Help. My husband is a saint.
