about me

I have loved to bake things as long as I can remember. My father worked as a baker for a while before I was born and thus had a love for baking as well. I still remember the smells that would greet me some days when I came home from school. My mother is also a good baker and coming from Germany has many good cake recipes. My sister and I were always included in the baking process and, of course, were allowed to lick the beaters and the bowls upon completion. I attribute this early involvement in the process to my current love of making home baked goods.
