about me

I am not new to the kitchen. I've loved cooking ever since I was just tall enough to see into the pots on the stove. I used to cook dinner for my family when I came home from school so that the food would be ready when my parents got off of work. I work with the American Red Cross, which I've been with for 9 years either as a volunteer, part time or full time. Oh, and I hate doing the dishes!

I have family and friends who have called on me in the past to have me prepare certain desserts for them, so I guess I would be most famous for that. Desserts are my favorites but I've really expanded into the full blown dinners in the last several years. Since I enjoy cooking and preparing meals so much, many of my recipes may be a little time consuming in the prep work, but trust me, they are great! My favorite restaurant would probably be Longhorn Steakhouse. That is the only place where I can always get a great steak! Grilling is not my strongpoint!
