I've recently taken over the cooking for a family of four (including myself). This is made a bit more challenging by a two-year old and a very low sodium diet, both of which need to be accomodated. I also make at least one pot luck dish a week. I also avoid any alcohol in my cooking as I am in recovery. Yes, I know the alcohol cooks off, but I see no need to tempt myself with the bottle.
I just love to eat, so I have to be careful (at 5'4" I don't hide weight very well). I love spicy and ethnic foods and anything that puts a new twist on an old favorite. I am also learning a lot of Italian cooking as my brother recently married into a large Italian family.
