I am a foodie who loves to bake and would like to learn more about cooking. I'd also like to be able to create my own recipes by knowing what flavor combinations work well together, and how ingredients interact (esp in baking). Tell me what you think of any recipe I am brave enough to post. Dish it out - I can take it!
I love ethnic foods (kimchee w/bulgogi - however you spell it - is so delish!), but not too keen on the meats that most would agree make them squeamish (calamari, octopus, oysters, clams, raw fish, etc).
I like trying new things. I love old-fashioned southern cooking, but not necessarily the fat & calories that go w/it!
A good dessert is one of life's little pleasures - creme brulee, caramel flan, and tres leches cake are some of the most divine tastes anywhere!
