about me

I am a nurse who lives and works in Northern New York State, not far from Lake Placid. I am owned by several cats and a dog. Quilting is my passion! I also like to cook, make greeting cards, read and spend time out doors. It would be hard for me to choose one cookbook that is my favorite! I love to collect cookbooks, especially those little spiral bound books produced by small organizations and local groups.

Favorite Foods:

It would be easier to tell you what foods I don't like. I love all seafood, but can be just as happy with a meatless meal!

I make awesome Buffalo Chicken Wings, Cheesecake, doughnuts, and Red Beans and Rice. I love trying new recipes!

My favorite local restaurant is The Swiss Kitchen in Tupper Lake, and in Albany, NY, Delmonico's Italian Steak House. I am not limited to those two restaurants...there are so many good restaurants around, I could eat out every night, if my budget allowed, or I could find someone who would pay my way!

Winter 2008-2009: Guess what I found!! Yep! Someone who will pay my way! This woman is as happy as a clam!!
