about me

I live in the snowy wonderland of northern Michigan and work in Indian Gaming where I'm in charge of an IT department, (computers). When I get off work I like to spend time in the kitchen making meals for my three hungry boys, (well two now, one's in college). I look for new recipes constantly as I am blessed with children who will try anything at lease once. I'm married to a wonderful women who unfortunately doesn't like to spend time in the kitchen. My cooking is my passion but also my hobby so I wouldn't want to do it professionally. My pet peeves are people who drive in the passing lane but are going slower then the speed limit.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite foods are Cajun recipes of any type. Southern cooking and anything spicey that has taste. Too much heat ruins the flavor. I don't have a favorite food but enjoy almost everything. Being a hunter I look for recipes that I can use with venison. I'm what's known as an ethical hunter, I won't hunt anything that I don't plan on eating. My favorite restaurant in the area is Pearl's in Elk Rapids Michigan. Great New Orleans style cooking.
