about me

I'm the mother of triplet daughters. I'm a critical care nurse by background, and I work fulltime as a nurse manager of a surgical-progressive care unit. I love to cook and bake. I love to eat but I'm being really calorie-conscious these days so I try to practice portion control so I don't have to eliminate all the good stuff from my diet.

I also like to scrapbook and read, time permitting! I like to find old cookbooks to add to my collection. I have two cats: one fat old mean cat (but I love him!) named Tiger Jack and a tiny cute new calico kitten that we named "Cupcake."

I'm majorly addicted to RecipeZaar! I'm working on producing a cookbook for my daughters for when they move on to their own households. They just graduated high school and will be entering college this fall (2008) and I can't believe how the time has flown!

Too many to list. Breads are way up there on the list, though. Homemade bread with butter...oh my. There's really not much I don't like!
