I am a stay-at-home Mom with a 7 year old son. I have been with the same man for 17 years (married for 15) and life is everything including interesting! Our son is wonderful and is not a picky eater at all; never has been. I'm very lucky considering most of my friends' children will only eat fast food chicken nuggets! (OMG... what is in those things?????)

I love to cook. (My friends call me Martha, Jr.) I'm not a baker, but I can cook mostly anything. My husband is proud of me and loves the fact that I can cook because when I met him, I didn't cook at all! I have no excuses either.... all the women in my family are outstanding cooks! My 94 year old Grandma just quit cooking for herself a few years ago (she moved to a retirement home now). She makes the MOST AWESOME CHICKEN POT PIE ON THE PLANET! I should really post that recipe........

We grill A LOT..... I have tried grilling just about everything, meats, veggies, fruits, etc and consider myself a pretty good griller. My theory is "IF YOU CAN EAT IT, I CAN GRILL IT!".

I love Recipezaar and all of the chefs! It's great to "chat" with others from around the globe who share the same excitement as I do about food. I have gotten so many wonderful tips on cooking and baking on this site. I enjoy every one of your recipes and I love to share mine as well.

Favorite Foods:

I think I like Mexican food the best. Seafood is right up there as well, and I also like traditional home cooking like chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and roast beef. Comfort foods make me happy.....
