I'm a cook and baker in love with the world of vegan food. Most of my best recipes were originally non-vegan ones. I love playing in the kitchen and finding new ways to make vegan food even better than "traditional" fare.
I love feeding people that aren't vegan, and surprising them with how delicious, satisfying, and life-giving a meal can be without flesh and animal byproducts.
A huge pet peeve for me is people who won't try things that are outside of their comfort zone. Life is too short limit your palate!
Delicious, flavorful vegan food. I love comfort food. Light, fresh, and simple meals are always welcome, too, especially during summertime.
I generally don't like anything that's a casserole (unless veggie pot pie counts).
I make a hell of a vegan biscuit that would fool any old dairy lover. Southern food is a nostalgic favorite for me.
I melt for the combination of chocolate, cinnamon, and chile. Mmmm.
I love love love Mexican food...especially Oaxacan style. Horchata may be my favorite beverage of all time.
I love food from all around the world. I'll try just about anything if it's vegan.
And...I love pie.
