about me

I'm a stay-at-home mom with two boys, ages 6 and 7, and enjoy trying recipes and cooking that bring my life and family closer to being environmentally friendly without sacrificing fun. Homemade cooking, trying local fare and baking are one way to do this and it keeps my kids interested, educated about food and about from where it comes.
I really enjoy Fine Cooking Magazine and have yet to try a recipe that doesn't taste great! I also love Regan Daley's In The Sweet Kitchen. Another really great site that I frequent is epicurious.com.

Favorite Foods:

I love to eat and prefer savory over sweet but, ironically, am a better baker than cook! I like most food and will try most anything at least once!
