I am married, a working woman, daughter, mom, grandma to 2 babies, a very blessed person. I like to read, watch old movies, spend time with my family and love to do mini vacations, I like to can and preserve foods, love the Food Network, looking over old cookbooks, trying new recipes. My favorite cookbooks are distributed by local schools, churches, businesses, etc.

Favorite Foods:

I'm known for my pies, my mom taught me well, but she is still better than me. My best main dish is lasagne. I love seafood restaurants, but don't really like to cook seafood.
I love to can and preserve fresh garden vegetables and fruits, my father-in-law is generous with his garden's bounty. My husband will often observe the work that goes into canning, and he will say "You call that fun?"
